About the Author

Rebecca Williams is a writer, wife, and mum from Western Sydney with a heart for planting seeds of faith in the next generation. She believes stories have the power to shape little hearts, spark big conversations, and point families back to Jesus.

When she’s not writing, you’ll find her chasing after her children, serving at her home Church, or enjoying a cup of coffee (hopefully before it goes cold!).

Rebecca’s prayer is that her books remind children and families of God’s love and the joy of walking with Him every day.

Why Children's Books?

I have always been an avid and passionate reader. I grew up loving how books can transport you to another world and teach you about the world around you.

I have always had a soft spot for writing too; particularly poetry. I believe in the power of words to bring hope and joy, or express lament and pain.

When I became a mum for the first time, I loved reading stories to my baby, praying that one day she would share my passion for books. I began to wonder what it would look like to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ with my baby in an engaging way (not only for her, but for me as well), and started writing a poem that quickly became the concept for a children’s book.

From there, God has worked in my heart and opened up the blessed opportunity to share my writing with many others who have the same hopes for the children in their lives, too!
